Solution: I would not perform cumulative updates (CU) via WSUS but just check windows updates for servers will need to determine. Well, I got one of our Network Engineers over, who opened this server up to connect to the Windows Update sites. He saw tons of traffic but had the same results, the server’s “Checking for updates” just keep spinning.
